An Essential Service

The iFEED Program was launched in 2020 in the early phase of the pandemic to serve vulnerable communities through safe spaces where they could be supported confidentially and with dignity and respect.

While we feel blessed to be able to provide food support, we recognize that this is only an interim solution in the fight to end food insecurity. We understand that a permanent solution can only be achieved by addressing income insecurity in families.

iFEED Program Mission

Our mission is to serve vulnerable families in our communities.

There is a dramatic increase in food insecurity in the Halton Region and across Canada.

The impact of unprecedented world events continues to devastate the emotional, physical, and mental health and well-being of people in our communities, with a disproportionate impact on low income and racialized families.

"Cheers to Volunteers" Award

Hi!

I'm Bonnie Wiltshire, Founder and CEO of iFEED Program Inc. and a parent in the Halton Catholic School Board.

I'm the proud mother of two amazing boys, one of whom is autistic.

"Community service is an important part of my life!"

I believe it takes a village - We need to see and treat our fellow community members as extensions of ourselves.

As a single parent of a child with different abilities, I understand only too well the physical, emotional and mental toll it takes to overcome seemingly unsurmountable life challenges.  I could not have done so without the kindness, love, and support of others along the way.

"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

 - Luke 6:38 NKJV
